Former deputy Mandacı’s statement about the election of mufti
Çetin Mandacı, a former deputy of Xanthi, stated that it is not possible accept government’s new mufti law.
Mandacı stated that it is important for the minority to elect their own mufti and wished success to the candidates.
Mandacı made the following statement on his social media account:
“As someone who has put great effort and effort into solving the problem of the mufti in his time, I can clearly and unequivocally state that it is not possible for me to accept the government's new law on the mufti, just as I did not accept it when I was a deputy.
In this context, it is even more important for the minority to elect their own mufti.
In this process, I would like to state that I have been following the works of the officials of the Xanthi Mufti, our candidates, and of course the constructive criticisms and suggestions made with great pleasure. I wish success to both candidates.
As in the past, no one should have any doubt that our society will claim this important office with their participation in this election as well.
