Food aid from IHH UK to GAZA
IHH UK, within the scope of the food support campaign launched for thousands of Palestinian victims suffering in Gaza under Israeli occupation, aids were delivered to those in need.
Ali Tahir, President of IHH UK, who is originally from Western Thrace, told MILLET the following about the food aids provided in the Gaza Strip within the framework of the campaign:
"As a Foundation, we have implemented our projects in the north of the Gaza Strip (Jabaliye - Gaza centre - Beit Lahia) and distributed the aid received from our brothers and sisters in Western Thrace and Germany, especially in the UK, and to the south of the Gaza Strip (Rafah & Khanyounus).
The number of beneficiaries is as follows:
Food distribution to 3000 families
Distribution of food parcels to 400 families
Our emergency aid for Gaza continues. Our aid to Gaza will continue during Eid al-Adha."
As every year, IHH UK also carries out Qurban Donation campaigns for many countries, especially for Africa.
