President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan touched upon the problems of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority in the opening program of the 38th Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Economic and Commercial Cooperation Standing Committee (COMCEC).

Stating that the Islamic world should no longer be a spectator to the situation of the Muslim Turkish Minority who were persecuted in Greece, Erdogan said: "The unfair and unlawful practices that have been going on for years against the Muslim Turkish Minority in Greece continue increasingly.
