EBEP executives attend to the business works in Brussels

The delegation of the Union of Central Chambers of Greece, which participated in the business council held in Brussels, included Antonis Gravanis, President of the Rhodope Chamber of Craftsmen and Craftsmen (EBEP) and other representatives of the chamber.
The delegation, consisting of business people from Greece, met in Brussels with European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas, European Parliament Members Anna Michelle Asimakopoulou, Eliza Vozeberg and Manolis Kefalogiannis.
During the meeting, chamber managers and EP members had the opportunity to evaluate the expectations and possibilities of Greece in the European Union, the situation of businesses affected by the Russia-Ukraine war and the energy crisis.
The delegation, consisting of chamber managers, was informed by the European Commission officials about the financing opportunities for businesses from structural funds in the 2021-27 periods, the course of the new process, and ESPA's Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation EPANEK program.
The delegation attended the conference where the European integration and the challenges faced by the Head of ARGO-Brussels Hellenic Network Pappas Spiros, the members of the Board of Directors and the Greek Ambassadors working at the Permanent Representation of Greece in Brussels.
Komotini EBEP President Antonis Gravanis, in his presentation at the congress regarding the financing of businesses from structural funds and the new ESPA, referred to the necessity of separating banks from financing and eliminating bureaucracy and demanded that the minimis limit be increased.
The President of the Rhodope Chamber of Commerce and Industry Antonis Gravanis, Vice-President Stergios Nikolaos, Financial Auditor Pehlivanis Stavrula, EBEP board member and President of the Rhodope Accountants Association Tarnanas and Rhodope Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General Vafiadis Anestis attended the business council.
