Dikilitaş intersection can be reopened to traffic

Vangelis Pulilios, Vice President of the Evros Region, stated that the intersection of Dikilitas on the Egnatia motorway in Alexandroupoli could be reopened to traffic this summer.

Pulilios, who participated in a radio programme in Alexandroupoli, stated that the Regional President of Eastern Macedonia Thrace (DMT), Christodoulos Topsidis, also attached special importance to this issue and estimated that the issue could be resolved.

The intersection was closed about 15 years ago by the decision of the Egnatia Motorway company authorities and is expected to be reopened to traffic in the coming period if the Greek Privatisation Authority TAIPED gives permission.

It was stated that the State's efforts and efforts will continue to reopen to traffic.
