Consul General Unal pays visit to Xanthi Turkish Union
Consul General Ünal was greeted by İTB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, administrators, Women's Branch and Youth Branch management, course teachers, music course students, former association presidents and children in traditional dress.

During the visit, President Ozan Ahmetoğlu gave information about the establishment of the Xanthi Turkish Union, its history, activities, and the 40-year struggle for rights. Ahmetoğlu stated that Xanthi Turkish Union, as the first non-governmental organization of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, has been continuing its struggle to seek rights for 40 years with great determination, in addition to its mission of keeping the culture, identity, and values of the society alive, developing and transferring them to future generations.
Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini, Aykut Unal, started his speech by thanking the close attention and hospitality shown, and said that the Xanthi Turkish Union has a rich history with unity and fighting spirit, and that this is also important and extremely valuable. Ünal noted that they closely followed the struggle of the Xanthi Turkish Union.
At the end of the visit, Consul General Ünal presented a painting to ITB President Ahmetoğlu, while Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu presented Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini Aykut Ünal with an embroidered tray of Xanthi Turkish Union produced in ITB courses.
At the visit; Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa, deputy mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu, BTAYTD President Hüseyin Baltacı, and many cognates were present.
