Charity bazaar to be held at Dinkler Mosque in İskeçe
The İskeçe Mufti’s Office, Dinkler Mosque and the Hanımeli Association will jointly organise a charity bazaar on October 10–11, 2026, in the courtyard of Dinkler Mosque in İskeçe (Xanthi), bringing local residents together for two days of food, handmade products and community solidarity.
The event will be open to visitors from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, according to the organisers.
LOCAL FOOD AND HANDMADE PRODUCTS
The bazaar will feature a variety of regional dishes, homemade delicacies, handmade crafts, souvenirs and stalls offering food and refreshments.
Visitors will be able to enjoy grilled dishes, snacks, tea, coffee and other beverages, alongside traditional and popular foods such as çiğ köfte, lahmacun, börek, desserts and kumpir. Toys and other products will also be available at the stalls.
SUPPORTING CHARITABLE CAUSES
The bazaar is intended both to raise funds for charitable purposes and to strengthen community ties by bringing residents together. The organisers have invited members of the public to attend and support the initiative, noting that the proceeds will be used for charitable activities.
The event will take place in the courtyard of Dinkler Mosque on October 10 and 11, with visitors welcome between noon and 9:00 p.m. on both days.
