Caner İmam receive information from the current mayor about the situation of the municipality
The new mayor of Yassıköy Municipality, Av. Caner Imam, who won the mayorship of Yassıköy Municipality in the local elections held in Greece, met with the current mayor Mümin Mümin on Wednesday, 10 October and discussed the situation of the municipality and the priority issues and needs that need to be addressed urgently.
The new mayor Caner İmam, who visited the current mayor Mümin Mümin, whose term of office will end on 31 Araklı 2023, in his office, informed the people of the municipality with a statement about the meeting.
Yassıköy Mayor Caner Imam, who will take over on 1 January 2024, commented on the fruitful meeting:
"Dear People of Yassıköy Municipality,
As it is known, since we will officially take office on 1 January 2024, we do not tolerate any loss of time in order to avoid any disruption and to implement the projects we have promised urgently.
From this point of view, we came together with the current Mayor to evaluate the transition process.
We held a productive evaluation meeting with him on the current problems, priority issues and needs that need to be addressed urgently. We welcome his statements on cooperation and solutions and thank him for the sensitivity he has shown.
I also stated that we will be part of and follow the solution day by day until the handover of duty.
The municipality is the municipality of all of us, the problems are the problems of all of us and we are ready for solutions."
