Bursa Metropolitan Municipality pay visit to Komotini

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mehmet Aydın Saldız, along with his delegation, visited Komotini today, Saturday, August 31, 2024.
The visit was part of their trip to Western Thrace for the historic Alantepe Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events. The delegation was accompanied by Kozlukebir Municipal Council Member Cihat Şerif.
The first stop on the visit was a meeting with Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif at his office. Following this, the delegation visited the Komotini Turkish Youth Union, where they met with the association’s president, Sedat Hasan. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the challenges faced by the Turkish minority in Western Thrace and conveyed greetings from Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey.
