Blood donation and first aid training highlight social awareness day in Kozlukebir Municipality

Two important social initiatives were held in the Municipality of Kozlukebir on Wednesday, 12 November 2025: a Voluntary Blood Donation drive and a First Aid Training Seminar for local women.

The blood donation event took place at the Kozlukebir Municipal Building from 09:00 to 13:00, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Department of the University General Hospital of Dedeağaç and the “Help at Home” program.

At 11:00 a.m., the First Aid Seminar followed, held in cooperation with the Hellenic Red Cross – Gümülcine Regional Unit and with the participation of the Municipality’s Community Center. The seminar aimed to inform and train women in essential first aid skills.

Mayor of Kozlukebir, Mr. Erdem Hüseyin, attended both activities, congratulating the volunteer blood donors and the seminar trainers. He expressed his satisfaction with the strong participation of citizens.

In his statement, Mayor Erdem noted:
“Blood donation and first aid training are acts of responsibility, compassion, and humanity. Every citizen who participates in such initiatives contributes to building a stronger and more supportive society. The Municipality of Kozlukebir will continue to support every initiative that unites people and gives life.”
