Berat Night celebrated in Yeni Mahalle Mosque
In Komotini, cognates gathered at Yeni Mahalle Mosque on the occasion of Berat Night (Kandili) and prayed together.
Young people residing in the Yeni Mahallesi of Komotini organized a Berat Night program in the neighborhood mosque.
Along with the compatriots residing in the neighborhood, there were cognates from neighboring neighborhoods who participated in the program, which was held after the Isha prayer.
In the program, Mufti İbrahim Şerif gave a sermon to the kin, indicating the meaning and importance of the night, while religious officials affiliated with the mufti red Quran and Mevlid-i Şerif.
At the end of the program, the prayer of the Mevlid-i Şerif was made by the Deputy Mufti Fehim Ahmet.
In the meaningful night, the compatriots who participated in the program prayed for peace in the world, happiness and peace of the Muslim Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, our country Greece, the motherland Türkiye and the religious brothers in all parts of the world.
At the end of the prayer, the compatriots in the mosque greeted and celebrated Berat Night.
