Attempt to ban the Adhan in Domruköy Village
The village imam, who read his adhan in April 12 in Domruköy and were going back to his house after praying alone in the mosque, was stopped by the police.

It was learned that the police, who went to Domruköy in a short time after the morning prayer, stopped the imam and asked him for identity and documents.

Officers asked the imam, who showed the document whether he knows that it is forbidden to read the adhan over the speaker due to the coronavirus, and told him not to read the adhan from the speaker anymore.

The issue was resolved by the MP İlhan Ahmet, saying that the ministry's decision to the police chief was not intended to completely ban the adhan in mosques, but to be read in a more low sound by the speaker until the specified date.
