Successful students awarded with “Alantepe” trip
Cavit Karabıyıklı, one of the Oreon (Yassıören) Quran Course instructors, awarded his successful students with a trip to the historical Alantepe Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events.
Karabıyıklı, one of the Oreon (Yassıören) Quran Course instructors operating under the Elected Mufti Office of Xanthi, rewarded the students who were successful in the course and placed in the top five with a trip to Alantepe Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events.
Cavit Karabıyıklı kept his promise to his students who were successful in the training given in the course last year and rewarded them with this trip.
Parents of the students also participated in the Alantepe tour organized for successful students.
Religious officer Cavik Karabıyıklı, who conveyed his thoughts about the Alantepe trip to MİLLET, stated the following.
“Last year at the Oreon (Yassıören) Qur'an Course I teach, I promised my students that I would organize a trip for the top five in terms of success.
My students kept their word, they succeeded, and it was my turn.
I wanted our trip to be beneficial as well as providing enjoyable moments for our children.
As we all know, Alantepe Oil Wrestling and Cultural Activities are the seven centuries old ancestral heritage of Western Thrace Muslim Turks.
I thought it would be right and beneficial to bring my students to Alantepe, where the deep-rooted tradition of our society, which dates back centuries, is kept alive.
With the participation of our parents, we made our trip to Alantepe. Thanks to our trip, our children had the opportunity to see Alantepe, where deep-rooted history is kept, and to watch cultural activities such as folklore and oil wrestling.
The best proof of the accuracy of the trip I organized was the fact that both my students and parents conveyed their memories to me. I was very pleased with it.
I sincerely believe that all of our students will make more efforts to be successful in the new academic year.
I wish the 2022-23 academic year to be beneficial for students and educators in advance, and I wish success to everyone.” said.
