New Democracy Party MP Evripidis Stilianidis addressed the Greek-origin MPs all over the world saying "A whole Greece exists where even one Greek exists"
New Democracy Party Rhodope MP Evripidis Stilianidis addressed the Greek deputies working in the USA, Canada, Africa, Australia and Europe at the meeting of the World Inter-Parliamentary Union, which held its 13th meeting in Athens.
At the meeting held in the Greek parliament, Stilianidis addressed the Greek-origin deputies serving as deputies in different countries saying “We represent different states, but a womb that gave birth to a great civilization, the same nation.”. Stilianidis added “The Greek State may have experienced crises and difficulties. (…) Our nation is a timeless and global achievement because it represents a civilization of 3000 years old and above. (...) A whole Greece exists where even one Greek exists. Our claim is to trigger this idea, to benefit from its goodwill, experience, mentality and network for the benefit of our little State. Thus, we will make Greece great again.”
ABTTF President Halit Habipoğlu reacted to Stilianidis, who denied the ethnic identity of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and adopted a double-standard stance when it came to Turkish politicians in Greece.
