He hanged himself in the barn near the house.
A 71-year-old man from Lefkopetra who was found hanged in the corral of his house yesterday afternoon chose to end his life.
The 71-year-old lived with his wife after the lunch they had together, he went to the corral, from where he hanged himself from a beam.
Police have ruled out foul play. No handwritten note was found at the scene.
