17-year-old revived after near-drowning at beach in Gümülcine

A 17-year-old boy remains in critical condition after being rescued from the sea and successfully resuscitated following a near-drowning incident at Sarıyer Beach in Gümülcine, Greece.

According to local reports, the teenager was pulled from the water unconscious after experiencing difficulties while swimming. A lifeguard immediately initiated emergency resuscitation efforts and managed to restore his heartbeat before paramedics transported him to Gümülcine State Hospital.

The teenager was intubated and admitted to the intensive care unit. Hospital officials said his condition has stabilized, although he remains in life-threatening condition.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the incident, which remains under investigation.
