14th Dr. Sadık Ahmet Football Tournament organized by the Youth Branch of the Friendship Equality Peace Party and the Young Academics Community came to an end with the final matches played at Yalımlı football field on Thursday evening 23 July 2023.

The FEP Party, founded by the late leader of Western Thrace Turks Dr. Sadık Ahmet, made a written statement and thanked those who contributed to the success of the tournament. The following was stated in the statement made by the party administration: "The traditional 'Football Tournament' organized in the name of Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the unforgettable leader of the Western Thrace Turks and founder of the Friendship Equality Peace Party, was held successfully and with great enthusiasm this year as well. The matches of the 14th 'Dr. Sadık Ahmet Football Tournament' took place at the Yalımlı village stadium. In total, 14 teams, including the junior team, took part in the tournament. We would like to thank the teams for their determination to fight throughout the tournament and for the value they showed to our late Leader Dr. Sadık Ahmet and congratulate the Youth Branch of our Party, the Young Academics Community and everyone else who contributed to the organization of the tournament. We would also like to thank the residents of Yalımlı village and especially the youth for their interest, care and efforts."
