Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan criticized the stance of Western countries on Israel during an interview with NBC News while attending the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

U.S. and Israel Relations

Erdoğan criticized U.S. President Joe Biden, noting that while Biden occasionally criticizes Israel, he continues to support the country in various ways. Turkey-Russia Relations

Regarding Türkiye's relationship with Russia, Erdoğan emphasized that the ties are multifaceted, covering political, economic, cultural, and defense sectors. He mentioned Turkey's invitation to attend the upcoming BRICS summit in October, highlighting the growing cooperation between Turkey and Russia in multiple areas.

U.S. Election Comment

When asked about the upcoming U.S. elections, Erdoğan stated that regardless of the outcome, Türkiye would continue to collaborate closely with the U.S., stressing that global relations with countries like the U.S. and Russia will remain a priority.
