Greece has introduced significant new protections for debtors owing money to municipalities, as the Governor of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) activated Article 35 of Law 5270/2026, effectively suspending asset seizures for municipal debts — even in cases where enforcement measures have already begun.
