Nigel Hayes-Davis returns to EuroLeague with Panathinaikos
Panathinaikos has signed 31-year-old American forward Nigel Hayes-Davis, Panathinaikos Aktor owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos confirmed on Instagram. The deal runs through 2028.
Hayes-Davis, who became a top European free agent following his release from the Milwaukee Bucks, reportedly earns $10 million, making him one of Europe’s highest-paid players behind Hapoel’s Vasilije Micic and teammate Kendrick Nunn.
The former Wisconsin standout previously won a EuroLeague Final Four MVP with Fenerbahce and has appeared in 213 EuroLeague games. In the NBA this season, he averaged 1.3 points and 1.2 rebounds over 27 games with the Phoenix Suns.
Hayes-Davis joins Panathinaikos as the team competes for playoff positioning in the EuroLeague (16-11) and trails only Olympiacos domestically (15-2) in the Stoiximan GBL standings.
