Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' "regime has managed to have Greece defamed around the world because of the wiretapping case," main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos said in social media on Saturday.
Wiretapping case is defaming Greece across the world, says SYRIZA spox

Referring to the premier, he continued to say that "while it doesn't seem as though there is much to spoil the vacations of our 'national tourist', the revelations continue."

In particular, "Sunday's Kathimerini newspaper refers to the monitoring of other politicians too, while also revealing that the Greek National Intelligence Service (EYP) used the Predator malicious software, which it had leased from a private individual," he added. "Exactly what the government representative had denied in April," he emphasized.

Iliopoulos noted that "the Mitsotakis regime will apologize" and that "the truth will not remain hidden, as it will be seen that the 'dark forces' involved in mafioso surveillance of politicians, journalists and businessmen are not some foreign forces, but  Maximos Mansion itself."
