Wildfire in Pangeo-Kavalla continues to rage for sixth consecutive day

The wildfire on Mt Pangeo in Kavalla continues to rage for sixth consecutive day.
A total of 46 fire engines with 280 member crew, 25 firefighters on foot assisted by five water dropping helicopters and a firefighting aircraft are battling the blaze.
The wildfire does not threaten inhabited areas however fire zones have been constructed around Pangeo settlements.
The wildfire broke out on Thursday and has burned hundreds of acres of forest and scrubland.
