US Ambassador Tsunis: "Both Greece and Türkiye want peace"
The US Ambassador to Athens, George Tsunis, stated that he believed that the problems between Türkiye and Greece could be resolved, and said, "Both Greece and Türkiye want peace."
Speaking to ANT1 television channel, Tsunis defined Türkiye and Greece as two important NATO allies.
Expressing that Greece and Türkiye should resolve their disagreements through diplomacy, Tsunis said, "We constantly encourage Türkiye and Greece in this direction because I know that both Greece and Türkiye want peace. There are disagreements in many relations, but peace is the basic principle in this case and can only be achieved through diplomacy." he said.
