Turkish FM Fidan to visit Athens soon!
"The two leaders instructed their Foreign Ministers to investigate whether there are favourable conditions for the resumption of talks on the delimitation of the continental shelf and the Exclusive Economic Zone," Foreign Minister Yorgos Yerapetritis said on the Mitsotakis-Erdogan meeting in New York.
Speaking to ERT in New York, where he travelled for the UN General Assembly, Gerapetritis said: "The existence of a good environment was confirmed. In these days of constant geopolitical threats and in a region with two wars, understanding and good neighbourly relations are more necessary than ever."
Gerapetritis said that the three main elements of political dialogue, Confidence Building Measures and the positive agenda will be discussed until the end of the year, and announced that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will soon visit Greece in preparation for the High Level Cooperation Council Meeting in January.
