Temperatures dip slightly as showers arrive
Scattered showers are expected in parts of central, eastern, and northern Greece today, along with northwesterly winds reaching up to 5 Beaufort in the Aegean. Temperatures will remain locally high for the season, and African dust concentrations are expected to increase, especially over the Ionian Islands.
More specifically, light rain will affect areas of central, eastern, and northern Greece. By midday, weather conditions will ease and become more localized, particularly in Thrace, Central Greece, and parts of the Peloponnese. Atmospheric circulation continues to favor elevated levels of Saharan dust in the air.
