Region Presidency hold a meeting for the tourism sector in Kavala
The meeting was held with the participation of East Macedonia and Thrace Region President Christos Metios, administrators of the regional presidency, representatives from municipalities, agencies, associations, clubs, and tourism professional associations of the region.
The main topics of the meeting were:
• Information on completed or ongoing tourism promotion activities in the Kavala region.
• EMT State Presidency's management organization's target introduction and action plan preparation.
• Formulate proposals for tourism promotion of the region in the context of the next programming period of the 2021-2027 ESPA programme.
At the meeting, all participants presented interesting proposals that were recorded and many of which would be accepted.
"Our goal is to inform the agencies about our actions and listen to their suggestions for planning our tourism policy in the coming years," EMT Region President Christos Metios said in a statement about the meeting.
