The Xanthi Regional Department of the Greek Red Cross, after the guidance and consent of the President Dr. Antoniou Avgerinou, participates with a group of Samaritan Volunteers - Rescuers as well as the Rescue vehicle of the Regional Department of E.E.S. Xanthi, in the great Humanitarian mission, which started from the Central Warehouse of E.E.S. to Siret (Ukrainian-Romanian border) and then to Chernivtsi, Ukraine, in order to deliver Humanitarian Aid directly to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
More specifically, the Humanitarian Mission includes three (3) trucks with forty (40) tons of Humanitarian aid (long-lasting food, basic necessities, antiseptics, electric generators, etc.).
