Three Greek investigating prosecutors began hearing additional testimonies on Monday by 105 detainees, mostly Croatian fans of Dinamo Zagreb, involved in football incidents in August including the death of a Greek AEK fan.

Incidents took place both downtown Athens and outside the OPAP football field in Nea Filadelphia. The latter cost the life of AEK fan Michalis Katsouris, 29.

The 105, detained since August, have been summoned to testify after a new charge of clashes with fatal result and individual charges related to damage of property.

Of the total, 45 were transported from jail to court to testify on Monday. A second group of 40 will start testifying on Tuesday, while the remaining 20 will testify on Wednesday. They are transported under heavy security.

The detainees, most of whom have applied for release, have rejected charges of setting up a criminal ring, of explosions and possession of explosives, and have said they are simply Dinamo Zagreb fans, not members of the club.
