Pro-Palestine demonstration held in Athens
A demonstration in support of the Palestinian people was held in front of the Israeli Embassy in Athens, where Greek and Palestinian activists gathered to protest Israel’s attacks on Palestine.
The protest, organized at the call of the Greek Communist Party (KKE), saw demonstrators chanting "Freedom for Palestine", while Palestinian participants accompanied the event with traditional dances.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Ebuhasan bin Muhammad, a representative of the Palestinian Community in Greece, described the situation in Gaza as an "online genocide", stating:
"For two years, people have been witnessing Israel’s crimes against humanity online. Anyone who values human rights should protest Israel and its allies. This is not just a crime against Palestinians but against all of humanity."
Similarly, Ilias Camuris, another protester, expressed his anger and grief over the situation, saying:
"It is a horrific reality—genocide, a crime against humanity. I have no words to describe it. Seeing the deaths of women and children fills me with immense rage."
