German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is going to travel to Athens on Wednesday, October 26, directly from Paris, as announced by deputy government spokesperson Wolfgang Buchner.
According to the spokesperson, the meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take place on Thursday and a joint press conference is planned for 12:00. A working lunch will follow.
As Mr. Buchner noted, bilateral and current economic and European issues are on the agenda of the meeting. Mr. Soltz will leave for Berlin on Thursday afternoon.
