ND rises to 30.7% as majority reject new Tsipras party

Greece’s ruling New Democracy (ND) continues to lead the political landscape, climbing to 30.7% in the latest Opinion Poll survey conducted for libre.gr. This marks a significant 14.9-point lead over second-place Freedom Sailing (Plefsi Eleftherias), which stands at 15.8%. PASOK follows in third with 13.7%, while SYRIZA lags at just 5.8%.
The poll also explored public opinion on a potential political comeback by former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. Only 22% of respondents said they would support a new party led by Tsipras, while a strong 74.9% rejected the idea. Support is highest among SYRIZA voters (87.8%) and moderate among those backing Freedom Sailing (42.7%) and PASOK (20.2%).
Among center-left voters, 41.4% said they would back a Tsipras-led initiative, while 21.4% of centrists expressed support. Despite some backing from his traditional base, the data suggest limited enthusiasm for a new party under Tsipras at this time.
The survey confirms ND’s continued dominance and the fragmentation of the opposition, with no clear challenger emerging from the center-left or leftist blocs.
