Mostly sunny weather across Greece on Monday
Greece will see generally fair weather on Monday, December 15, with mostly clear skies and seasonal temperatures across the country.
Sunshine will dominate most regions, although periods of cloud cover are expected in parts of eastern mainland Greece, the Aegean, and Crete.
Brief, isolated showers may occur in eastern Central Greece, Evia, the Sporades, and Crete. Patchy fog could reduce visibility in inland areas during the early morning and evening.
Temperatures will remain typical for mid-December, ranging from below freezing in parts of northern Greece to highs of 16–17°C in southern regions and Crete.
Northerly winds will blow across the Aegean at 3–5 Beaufort, locally strengthening to 6 Beaufort in the southeastern Aegean and south of Crete. Winds in the Ionian Sea will be light.
In Athens, skies will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of brief showers in the northern suburbs. Temperatures will range from 9°C to 15°C.
Thessaloniki will see mostly sunny weather with light winds and possible morning and evening fog. Temperatures will range from 5°C to 11°C.
