Mandatory registration of livestock facilities by the end of 2025
The Directorate of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Services (DAOK) of Xanthi informs owners of licensed livestock facilities that they must complete the registration of their facilities and key details in the Integrated Information System for Business Activities and Inspections (OPS-ADE), under the title "OpenBusiness," by December 31, 2025.
This registration applies to facilities that hold an installation permit under Law 4056/2012 or an operating license issued by the relevant authorities. Failure to register by the deadline will result in a €200 fine for late submissions.
Who Is Exempt?
Facilities that have already submitted a notification through the "NotifyBusiness" electronic system are not required to register again. However, the operators of these facilities must upload all necessary documentation by the end of 2025.
Digital Management of All Licensing Procedures
As of February 3, 2025, all approvals for the establishment and operation of livestock facilities will be processed exclusively through the OpenBusiness platform. The system also supports the notification of changes to the operational details of registered facilities.
