According to Greek media reports, investigators have also obtained video footage allegedly showing a suspected senior member of the criminal group violently assaulting a man inside a café.

The same suspect was reportedly recorded in conversations with a police commander in Chania regarding an alleged extortion case involving a construction contractor. According to the reports, the contractor was allegedly asked to pay €20,000 in order to continue work on a construction project.

The investigation also involves a forensic pathologist and a toxicologist, who are accused of manipulating findings in forensic reports and toxicology examinations as part of the broader criminal inquiry.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, while the reported recordings and video evidence are expected to play a key role in the judicial process. The allegations remain under investigation, and no final court rulings have been issued.
