Kostas Kinatzidis, disappeared suddenly
On Thursday, April 28, 2022, the former Deputy Regional Minister of Agricultural Economy, Kostas Kinatzidis "passed away" at the age of just 56, from a heart attack, spreading grief in the society of Drama, but also in the political world of the Region of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace.
Kinatzidis, who served in the Greek Police, has been involved with the public since 2010 when he was elected Municipal Councilor in the Municipality of Prosotsani (2011-2014). In 2014, he was elected Regional Councilor with the "Regional Renaissance" faction of Christos Metios and served as Deputy Regional Minister of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Medicine as well as Chairman of the Committee on Agricultural Economy and Environment AM-TH. He was again a candidate for Regional Councilor in the 2019 elections, without being finally elected.
The Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace Christos Metios expressed his sadness about the loss of Kostas Kinatzidis: "I am devastated by the unexpected loss of Kostas Kinatzidis. Kostas was one of my closest collaborators and we played difficult matches together. Above all, however, he was my friend. "
