Iftar celebration at the Macedonia-Thrace Muslim Education and Culture Association
The Macedonia-Thrace Muslim Education and Culture Association, founded by Turkish kinsmen in Thessaloniki, continues its significant activities under its new administration. As part of Ramadan celebrations, the association organized a communal iftar dinner on Sunday, March 23, bringing together members of the community in Thessaloniki.
A Gathering of Unity and Tradition
The iftar event, held at the association’s headquarters, was attended by Serkan Gedik, the Consul General of Türkiye in Thessaloniki, who joined to show support for the local Turkish community.
Additionally, members of the Young Academics group, operating under the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union (BTAYTD), participated in the gathering, further strengthening the spirit of solidarity and cultural heritage.
