The verdict in the appeal trial of the criminal organization case involving Golden Dawn will be announced on March 4 by the presiding judge of the Five-Member Court of Appeal for Felonies.

The court had initially scheduled the decision on guilt for today but informed trial participants that deliberations had not yet been completed. The judges briefly convened to set a new date, with the president stating that the panel’s conference remains ongoing. The ruling will now be delivered on the morning of Wednesday, March 4.

Prosecutor Kyriaki Stefanatou has recommended that all 42 defendants be found guilty again, as in the original trial.

The charges include participation in, formation, and leadership of a criminal organization. The case also covers the 2013 murder of anti-fascist musician Pavlos Fyssas and the 2012 attempted murder of an Egyptian fisherman during a violent attack carried out by a Golden Dawn assault group at his home.
