The new U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has officially assumed her duties after presenting her credentials to President Konstantinos Tasoulas at the Presidential Mansion in Athens.

The new U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has officially assumed her duties after presenting her credentials to President Konstantinos Tasoulas at the Presidential Mansion in Athens.

During a brief statement following the ceremony, Guilfoyle said, “I will not disappoint either the United States or Greece.”

Following the credential ceremony, Guilfoyle visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she met with Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis. She is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday.

Before her diplomatic appointment, Guilfoyle worked as a television personality for a U.S. news network and previously served as a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

She is widely known for her role as an advisor in former U.S. President Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign. (Source: AA)
