Defence Min Dendias in Abu Dhabi

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias arrived to Abu Dhabi on Wednesday for a two-day visit.
The Greek Ambassador to UAE Antonis Alexandridis and UAE defence ministry officials welcomed him at the airport.
Dendias will meet with UAE State Minister for defence issues Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi.
The meeting will focus on the deepening of the strategic defence relation between Greece and UAE, the security situation in the wider region of Eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf as well as the promotion of the bilateral cooperation in the sector of defence industry and technology.
Additionally, Dendias will meet with the Foreign Minister of UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan.
