Border units apprehended 9 people, 4 of whom were members of FETÖ and 1 of DHKP-C terrorist organisation, who were trying to illegally cross from Türkiye to Greece.
9 people, including 5 members of a terrorist organisation, were arrested while trying to flee to Greece
The statement was made by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence.
In the statement made on the social media account, "9 people trying to cross illegally to Greece were captured by our border troops in Edirne. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that 4 of the captured persons were FETÖ members and 1 of them was a member of the DHKP-C terrorist organisation."
