The Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) said businesses will be required to accept payments via IRIS in transactions with individuals starting next month.

Authorities finalized technical specifications for integrating direct payments at points of sale, including electronic funds transfer terminals and data publishing services, under the principle of mandatory receipt issuance for all payments.

Compliance deadlines for payment providers and technology companies are set for November 28. For more information, taxpayers can contact the AADE at 1521 or via the my1521 digital platform.
