Christmas 2025 trading hours begin on 11 December
The Athens Trade Association has released its proposed opening hours for retail shops during the 2025 Christmas period.
In its announcement, the Association stressed that the schedule is indicative and optional. Individual businesses may adjust their opening times according to their needs and capacity, provided they remain within operating limits set by the Greek state - Monday to Saturday 06:00-21:00 and Sunday 11:00-20:00.
