Well-known figure of the Turkic world Ganire Pashayeva passes away

Pashayeva, who was hospitalised in the capital Baku on 24 September with a diagnosis of hypotonic condition of unknown origin and was under treatment in intensive care, died.

Ganire Pashayeva was born on 24 March 1975 in Tovuz, Azerbaijan.

Paşayeva, who graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University, Department of Paediatrics and Baku State University, Department of International Law, started working in television in 1998.

In 2005, Pashayeva became the head of the Public Relations Department of the Heydar Aliyev Fund.

Shortly afterwards, Paşayeva was elected as Tovuz Deputy in the parliamentary elections held on 6 November 2005 and held different positions in the parliament.

Pashayeva was also the chairperson of the Culture Committee of the National Assembly.

Paşeyeva had many articles and speeches on the Turkic world.
