Polish citizen Monika Joanna Sosnowska Yılmaz, who went to Karabük for a holiday, converted to Islam with the conversion ceremony held in the Provincial Mufti.

According to the statement made by the Mufti, a conversion ceremony was held for Yılmaz, who decided to become a Muslim.

During the ceremony, Yılmaz was informed about the basic principles of Islam by the Provincial Mufti Ercan Aksu.

Yilmaz, who later became a Muslim by uttering the word, took the name “Elif”.

At the ceremony, which was completed with prayers, Provincial Mufti Aksu presented Yılmaz with the “Certificate of Conversion” and various books from the Qur’an with meaning and the publications of the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
