YTB President Eren attends the premiere of the film "Sadık Ahmet"
Abdullah Eren, President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), attended the premiere screening in Istanbul of the TRT co-production "Sadık Ahmet", a film about the life of the late Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the leader of Western Thrace Turks.
Abdullah Eren, who met with Dr. Sadık Ahmet's wife Işık Sadık Ahmet, Sadık Ahmet's son Levent Sadık Ahmet, daughter Funda Sadık Ahmet and the film crew at the premiere screening, thanked those who contributed to the transfer of Dr. Sadık Ahmet's life to the screen.
On the other hand, former İRCİCA Coordinator Prof. Dr. Halit Eren, who is originally from Western Thrace, was among the participants of the premiere of the film.
In his post on his social media account, YTB President Abdullah Eren said, "The life of Dr. SadıkAhmet, the legendary leader of the struggle of Western Thrace Turks for rights and truth, was transferred to the big screen. I hope that especially my young brothers and sisters will get to know this hero, who is the loud voice of the Turkish presence in Greece.
