Young people of Hemetli Village finally get their football field
The Kozlukebir Municipality is nearing the completion of a football field in Hemetli, one of the largest villages in the Balkans region of the municipality. This initiative is part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to create new opportunities for young people in the area.
The Hemetli Football Field, one of the municipality’s key projects, is set to open soon after the final preparations are completed. Young people in the village will finally gain access to a dedicated sports facility.
Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin shared an update on the project’s status through a written statement and social media, emphasizing unity and collaboration in his message:
“Dear Residents of Hemetli,
From the inception of our Unity List in 2019, we’ve consistently said that we aim to build upon the work of our predecessors, not dismantle it. With the challenges of significant migration reducing our population to just a handful, it’s time to stop opposing each other and start cooperating.
Today, we are proud to announce the completion of Hemetli Village’s football field, a project initially planned by the previous administration. We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to this achievement and pray for their blessings.
In the coming days, we will inaugurate the field together with the youth of our region. May it bring prosperity to Hemetli.”
The new football field is expected to provide young people with valuable opportunities and significantly enhance the region’s sports infrastructure.
