'Xanthi Turkish Union Women Meetings' continue with the event in Demircik

Within the framework of "Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB), Women Meetings", an event was organised in Demircik in Xanthi. On 7 March Thursday, the event took place in Demircik at the Xanthi Turkish Union Demircik Sewing and Embroidery course. At the ITU Women's Meeting, Interior Designer Emine Çıtak made a presentation on "How to Design a Correct and Healthy Home".

The event was attended by Sevil Şerifoğlu, Vice President of Xanthi Turkish Union, Zeynur Bargan, Spokesperson of Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform and President of ITB Women's Section, members of ITB Women's Section, ITB trainees and many women from Demircik village.

The opening speech of the event was made by Zehra Bati, instructor of Demircik course. Bati thanked the guests and thanked the women who supported her and the course in every way.

Zeynur Bargan, President of ITB Women's Section and Spokesperson of Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform, expressed her pleasure to be together with women from Beyköy. Bargan stated that their aim is to stand by women with their projects and activities.

Sevil Şerifoğlu, Vice-President of ITB, said "As Xanthi Turkish Union, we aim to contribute to our women, who we see as the cornerstone of the society, in different fields as well as keeping the Turkish culture alive in Western Thrace. In order to respond to the needs of our women in social areas, we aim to see healthier, happier and more peaceful women, mothers and wives by bringing them together with experts from time to time in line with their demands, and bringing them together with organisations such as meals, picnics and trips."

Interior Designer Emine Çıtak, who attended the event as a speaker, made a presentation on "How to Design a Correct and Healthy Home". Emine Çıtak answered questions on topics such as correct furniture placement, making spaces look more spacious and wider, and interior design of the house. At the end of the event, course instructor Zehra Bati presented Emine Çıtak, ITB Vice-President Sevil Şerifoğlu and ITB Women's Section President Zeynur Bargan with a tray of handicrafts prepared in Kusrta. Afterwards, traditional foods prepared by the trainees were served to the guests.
