Xanthi Muftiate condemns provocation by state-appointed muftis

The Xanthi Muftiate has issued a strong condemnation of the actions of state-appointed Muftis, accusing them of attempting to provoke the community during Friday prayers at the Çınar Mosque.
In a statement, the Muftiate highlighted the seriousness of the situation, denouncing the appointed officials’ actions as disruptive and divisive. The statement called for respect for the elected Muftis of the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority and urged the government to cease its interference in the community’s religious affairs.
