Xanthi Minority High School Loyalty Evening and Alumni Gathering took place
Xanthi Minority Secondary School and High School's "Loyalty to Retired Teachers Evening and Alumni Gathering" event took place on Saturday, 1 July at the school's sports facilities center.
The event was organised jointly by the Xanthi Minority Secondary School and High School PTA and the Board of Councillors.
The event was attended by retired teachers and those who graduated in many periods. The teachers and the graduates were reminiscing with each other.
The event was attended by Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, Xanthi MPs Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, Selçuk Fehmi, Principal of Xanthi Minority Secondary School and High School, Hüseyin Baltacı, President of WTMUGA, Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of Xanthi Turkish Union, Bahri Belço, Vice President of FEP Party, Ahmet Kara, President of Association of Minority Schools Councillors Association, graduates from many periods including the first graduates of the school, school teachers, members of the Parent-Teacher Association and the Board of Councillors.
There were emotional moments during the reunion of Ziya Hacı Salih, Yüksel Ahmet Beyoğlu, and Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu with the graduates who were able to attend the event despite their advanced age.
The opening speech of the event was made by Bingül Tuzlacı, President of the Parent-Teacher Association. Ahmet Kara, Chairman of the Board of Councillors, Selçuk Fehmi, School Principal, MPs Burhan Baran and Hüseyin Zeybek and Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi took the floor and expressed their feelings and thoughts.
During the loyalty night, those who have served since the establishment of the school until today and who are no longer with us were remembered and a moment of silence was observed. A plaque of appreciation was presented to the relatives of the teachers who were not alive and who were alive but could not attend the event and to the teachers Ziya Hacı Salih, Yüksel Ahmet Beyoğlu and Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu who attended the event.

On the evening of Saturday, 1 July 2023, at the Sports Facilities of the Xanthi Minority Secondary and High School in the Lower Neighbourhood, the 'Loyalty Evening for the Retired Teachers of the Xanthi Minority Secondary and High School and the Alumni Meeting', organised jointly by the PTA and the Board of Councillors of our school, took place successfully.
In this event, which was attended by the veteran teachers of our school, very valuable guests and graduates, there was a flood of emotions. In the evening where the graduates of different periods came together, memories were shared, and our teachers and graduates who have raised many students in our school and helped them to become useful individuals for the Muslim Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and our graduates made up their longing.
