Xanthi Minority High School graduates 82 students

A graduation night was organised in Xanthi on 21 June Wednesday evening for 82 students who managed to graduate from the school this year.
Students, parents, teachers, school administrators and many guests attended the graduation ceremony organised by the PTA with the support of the Xanthi Minority High School Board of Trustees and the school administration for the 53rd term graduates.
The graduation ceremony started with the speech of Bingül Tuzlacı, the president of the PTA.
Tuzlacı thanked the families and relatives of the students for their interest and support and said: "I would like to congratulate all our students and your devoted families. Your choice of Xanthi Minority High School shows your support for our school and our teachers. It shows your support for the history, culture and bilingual education of the Minority High School. More importantly, it shows that our demands, which we express at every opportunity for our students to reach the educational conditions they deserve in the future, are right and cannot be ignored."
Afterwards, Lawyer Ahmet Kara, Chairman of the Board of Councillors, Selçuk Fehmi, Principal of the School, Eva Stergiannidou, Deputy Principal, Dr Burhan Baran and Hüseyin Zeybek, MPs of Xanthi made welcoming speeches. The speakers emphasised the importance of minority education and congratulated the graduating students, their teachers and their families and wished them success in their future education.
The last speaker of the evening was Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi. Mufti Trampa congratulated the families who sent their children to minority schools, the graduating students and the teachers who trained them. Mufti Trampa thanked those who contributed to the organisation of the graduation night and stated that despite the problems, the Minority High School provided very good education and raised successful students and emphasised the importance of protecting our schools.
After the protocol speeches, the Turkish Folk Music baglama group under the direction of Music Teacher Özcan Kalfa gave a mini concert. After the mini concert, which was highly appreciated and applauded, diplomas were presented to the students.
Ayşenur Kalenci and Süeda Karakehaya were the presenters of the evening and the names of 82 graduates were read one by one and invited to the stage.
Souvenir diplomas and gifts were presented to the students by their teachers.
PLAQUE TO THE WINNERS
On the other hand, 3 students who completed the Minority High School with the highest grades were honoured with honour plaques by the PTA.
The students who graduated with honours are as follows:
FIRST Naz Muzafferoğlu (19,8)
SECOND Eslem Mahmut (19,6)
THIRD Selmin Imamoglu (19,5)
After the plaque presentation, all students threw their caps together and experienced the joy and happiness of graduating together.
After the cap throwing ceremony, students had the opportunity to have fun with Gönen Molla.
The relatives of the students who filled the hall took souvenir photos with the students.
